BioShape is developing a medical device that permits simple and effective local delivery of drugs around surgical implants.  Our initial products are focused on delivering antibiotics for the prevention and treatment of orthopedic implant infections, the combined treatment of which costs the U.S. healthcare system nearly $2 billion annually.

BioShape’s proprietary, patent pending products are based on the ability to provide immediate and sustained local delivery of a wide range of therapeutic agents (e.g. antibiotics or proteins).
